Dr. David Cockrell is passionate about the field of Optometry and about shaping its future so that it benefits not only his patients, but also patients all throughout the country. He is nationally recognized by his peers, has held many leadership positions and has received numerous awards for his efforts. Dr. Cherry Cockrell is a native of Tennessee and attended The University of Memphis for her undergraduate training before earning her Doctorate of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry. She and Dr. David Cockrell then opened their practice in Stillwater, which became known as COCKRELL EYECARE CENTER. Dr. Miller is a native of Oklahoma and was raised in Oklahoma City. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He received his Optometry degree from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Following his doctorate, Dr. Miller completed a one-year residency in “Advanced Diagnosis and Therapeutics of Ocular Disease.” He then practiced in Tulsa, Oklahoma for ten years in a primary surgical practice that emphasized medical, surgical, and laser eye care. Dr. John Millirons is a native of Oklahoma and was born and raised in Duncan, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He studied optometry at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry. Following his doctorate, Dr. Millirons went on to complete an optometric residency in “Advanced Diagnosis and Therapeutics of Ocular Disease” at Triad Eye Medical Clinic and Cataract Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Carson Gee is one of our doctors at Cockrell Eyecare Center. He is passionate and enthusiastic about providing top quality eye care for all his patients. Dr. Gee was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas and attended Abilene Christian University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Lauren Gee was born and raised in Idabel, Oklahoma and received her bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas in Human Environmental Sciences with a major in Food, Human Nutrition, and Hospitality with a concentration in Dietetics. Ryan P. Conley, D.O. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist who grew up in Pryor, Oklahoma. He attended college at Northeastern State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of Alpha Chi and Phi Theta Kappa honor societies.
